All about Eve

In glorious sunshine my new helper, Eve, set about whats known as making progress on the Swiss Chalet Style Kennel Block. Naturally no job can be undertaken without help from various sources, Bernese Mountain Dogs kept a watchful eye on all things woodwork while rampaging Ryelands and thuggish piglets made occasional forays in the hope of bagging any spare unguarded calories.
The sun was welcome, turning the work area into a sun trap
and by the time the second heavy metal CD had finished blaring from Miranda's not so good stereo all the wood for the frame had been cut and laid in interesting piles for the next stage.
Rocky, a keen heavy metal fan demonstrated teacity in the hope over experience stakes by resolutely sitting in the Freelander in the vain hope that it would be going somewhere with him in transit. Instead he spent most of the day sat there
while the rest of the clan watched from the grassy slopes as yours truly started to put together his done it himself Chinese puzzle.
Late PM saw what was hoped for, progress, with the majority of framework assembly complete (by majority I mean over half, by one panel)
Backache, sunburn (really)  and boredom saw the final whistle blown just in time to go shopping for essential supplies like Easter bonnets and 85mm screws.
