This might not look like it has great potential for a fun afternoon but rug rat mkII loves these shapes who are in fact colourful sidekicks of his favourite childrens TV presenter Mr Maker.
Which is why yours truly, my beautiful and oh so patient wife, the apprentice and super grandma all accompanied him to the theatre to watch the stage show.

and a great time was had by all. Rug rat mkII said he was feeling poorly but looked the picture of health.
Until we got him in the car! Poor lad!
