Flaming June..or what a difference a day makes!

This morning, early doors, yours truly and several Berners led by the clan matriarch, Reba, enjoyed the sun on our faces (windswept) while we looked for white rabbits. Apparently that's what you do on June 1st.
We didn't find any, but we did find all this lush grass on our top field (the ruin of a cottage just visible) which is a nice surprise as its not long ago this was all bracken. Lots of time and effort with a strimmer has reclaimed this ground for our equines.
Tonight's weather, more suited to ducks than horses. And where are they? Are they in their stables eating hot and cold running hay warming their hooves on central heated mats or are they up in the furthest most windswept exposed corner of Rock HQ tail to wind chomping grass. Well they wouldn't be our horses if they were sensible.
