Day 8 a new day dawns

Todays sunrise sort of crept up on me 

by the time the usual sights had been seen

things looked pretty bleak. But then as is so often in life 

things turned out lovely 

and a new day dawned 

with the most spectacular 

sunlight display

and it lasted a lot longer

than I thought it would 

which meant we were able to retrace our steps

and take 2.
