walk on by

The new challenge has taken over most free time and luckily for yours truly the one good thing about
global pandemics is the lack of opportunity to sit in my car and drive to Telford to plan world domination in foster care.
This gives two and a bit hours to walk/run/take photos and there has been a lot of walking.
The boys have embraced htis challenge too, one more so than the other
but both have joined me and the K9s
on the daily expanding trek.
The apprentice leads the way having completed 58km of the 66km total so far while
RRMK2 has reached the mid 30s.
Usually they are very happy about it all
and really enjoyed the snow.
Ripley despite her age and ever growing tumor managed a 9km trek into the wilderness.
Different paths are taken daily to add to the adventure.
Inevitably we see the same landmarks, same but different.
The apprentice has started to take pictures too.
Snacks always boost morale.
As does the knowledge that we are on the final stretch home, here is 5 ways from a different angle.
Times of day vary, from evening
on different hills
with time to ponder
to midday in fog. In all, so far, the challenge is going well, although todays 12km does not hold much appeal in the rain!
