Where am I?

This is Will.I.am, he is where he is supposed to be, well nearly, he shouldn't be in the feed store helping himself. Now Apollo on the hoof is definitely not where he is supposed to be, he's gorn.
So armed with a surrogate action Berner, Bryn and yours truly set off over the hills looking for the naughty pony.
Along the way we found you could quite possibly get blood from a stone.
As suspected the errant pony was not with the herd close to the house, close as in only a mile away.
No, he was over the top
and down the other side of the ridge, 2 miles away, making 4 by the time he got frogmarched back home . Bless him.

Rescue me!

Our two latest rescues sat by the pond posing.

Preparation is the key...

Living in such a great place its hardly surprising that yours truly gets out on his bike a lot. Or not. Having done 500 miles in 72 hours last year bike riding has sort of lost its appeal hence only riding 4 miles this year.
But that was about to change as its the Kington Sportive run by the Lions and hosted by me, or Red Kite Fostering.
Which is why with no preparation whatsoever yours truly set off on a blisteringly hot day for a jolly 100km ride around the steepest parts of Powys.
Naturally I was joined by other idiots.
And so after 4 hours 30 minutes 100km ticked off, not necessarily the right 100km as an error on the map reading meant that had I continued along the right way I would have done 80 miles, I finished for the day and ate pies.

Flaming June

 Another summer's day
which started with a trek up the Bonsai Mountain
 with the demi clan
to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the views. Or not in the fog and 11 degrees temperature. Roll on July!

Introducing.......

We clearly don't have enough dogs. Especially Bernese Mountain Dogs.
So we really haven't got another one called Holly, a lovely girl who has joined the clan after her family had a change of circumstances which meant they could not look after her. Looking at her you can hardly tell she hasn't been here all her life.

Gardeners question time

How much damage can one naughty pony cause when yours truly accidentally leaves the gate open.
