Hippo Birdies Two Ewes

The boys got up early and helped yours truly bake a load of goodies for a birthday breakfast as it was MBAOSPW's special day. So special that while she was opening her presents this naughty dog helped herself to quite a number of the freshly baked pastries. 

It being a sunny day a patrol was in order 

down to the river which was drizabone. 

which meant different angles to the pictures.

Back on what was supposed to be dry land the sunlight dappled the footpath 

and the Bonsai Mountain 

with its scorched sides 

appears to be recovering.

In all a very pleasant day with my beautiful and oh so patient wife 

and my lovely children. I'm a lucky man to have such nice kids.
