Just looking

Theres an auction on so we went just to have a look

at the hundreds of shiny objects 

on sale. Luck would have it that yours truly was otherwise engaged at sale time, an broke, so it really was a just look session.

Some of the objects needed a lot of work and optimism. 

Back at the ranch feed time for the critters and Misty wasted no time in getting into the bucket of allure. 

RRMK2 is now learning the fine art of card play and beat yours truly twice in a row at Magic the Gathering. Beginners luck hopefully.

Bebe is still here on holiday.

As the apprentice did such a good job of putting his marines together 

I let him make the Tyranid horde to fight them.
 

Its a kind of magic..

Bebe is still at HQ but the two grandchildren were returned to the loving care of he who cannot be named (who actually turned up on time to the right motorway service station) so they could watch Elton John.

Apparently when number 1 grandson gets excited he is likely to explode, luckily he was only sick in the car, on my motorbike glove and over a clean sleeping bag I had just collected from being cleaned. 

Back at the ranch the apprentice was engrossed in assembling the space marines from the new Leviathan Boxed Set 

He diligently worked through the huge collection of plastic bits 

and made a lot more figures for his Ultramarines.

The new ones are a tad bigger than the older ones.

In some cases head and shoulders bigger.

While he was doing the donkey work RRMK2 and yours truly learned how to play Magic The Gathering with the new Lords of the Rings decks, and 

he won both games, fluke obviously.
 

Adventure play

Quick breakfast buffet

before attempting to lose it all on the drop slide 

at Quakers. RRMK2 led the way and set the bar for free fall

but soon they all got the hang of it.

Pausing only for refreshments

they took control of the go karts

and raced around the trail

heading straight for 

the climbing area

and off road section.

The plane looks more  like a crash site every time but served as a useful backdrop for a family photo.

Back at the ranch they might have had rides up and down the lane on the back of Grandads motorbike.

Fed the livestock

and had facials made from snail slime.
 Despite the snails best efforts yours truly still looks rough. 

The alternative to Glastonbury

Hes back, the Divvy is fixed and running well, unlike his owner who hasn't run since last weekend due to achilles tendon.

Ursu is super happy settled in and making himself well at home.

Much like Bebe who is here as Bef is on Glastonbury trip

as are the parents of the grandchildren who have for the first time 

come to stay at Rock HQ.

After pizza treats it was story time

before 

bed. Some got sofas. 
 

Off we go

The poorly Divvy got loaded up and sent to the menders 

and I am hoping it doesn't cost too much to fix. 

Meanwhile...nerd alert... Macedonians are on the way to getting finished after 3 years.

My weeds are growing.

Happy Fathers Day

Ursu was in the same place we left him

and as it was fathers day yours truly was treated to breakfast with the clan

who are just as mad as ever
