Little t has found a design flaw in his big sister.
If you grip or press the squishy bits on the front of her head hard enough she makes a funny noise and stops walking.

Cheers Keats
Summer has left, it must have, and we are in the misty mellow fruitful mode at HQ.
Thankfully theres no possibility of a 100 car pile up here, but super grandma did have a narrow escape when some dozy lorry driver missed his turn and decided to reverse back onto the main road. The execute this amazingly clever maneuver he had to reverse over super grandmas car. Her quick thinking meant only a minor impact and cosmetic damage rather than injury.
As the sun got higher the mist retreated
and so began another glorious day, our last for a while apparently as its due to rain tonight which means all militia vehicles are working flat out to get the harvest in.
But one did take time to make a pre first breakfast delivery of hayledge for the critters which was much appreciated!

Busted!
Early doors and the cats get fed on the patio table as there are a few Berners about who are partial to cat food.
But you turn your back for a second and look who's helping herself.
Elf!
Butter wouldn't melt!

Risky Business
Previous posts have discussed how our Ryelands have an immense capacity for self harm and short of spontaneous combustion have found any number of ways to decease up to and including alien abduction ( that or they have been rustled and are now pie fillings) (thats if a woolly animal can be rustled)
so it came as no surprise to find Icelamb, Daffodils lamb of 2013 ( a real surprise as A) no lambs were ordered this year and B) he was born on the coldest day since the glaciers began their retreat north) stood on the step to nowhere with a jagged bit of metal attached to him.
Closer inspection revealed that he was wrapped up in old barbed wire which may have been a relic from WW2 when the Yanks used the Bonsai Mountain as a target and set up a camp on the ridge, but the provenance of this claim would be difficult to prove so if I did list it on ebay it is more likely to have the description of old fence for sale, anyway Icelamb was not going to get away from its grip without help.
Very helpfully he had impregnated himself with nettle leaves just to make yours truly's morning more entertaining and painful. He also took offence to being manhandled and rather than meekly accept the helping hand he decided to chuck a frenzied mental and run/headbutt/screamlikeastuckpig and generally behave in any manner of ways designed to wane the enthusiasm of his rescuer. When the bell sounded and we retired to our respective corners he was deficit wire and, in places, wool while I had acquired wire, wool, stings, bruises and a curious bite to the forearm. Modern shepherding. Its a risky business.

The swarm
We have a swarm of puppies at HQ which are taking a vast amount of time so much as I love them I am really counting the minutes days until they depart to their forever homes.
They get everywhere, heres Puma testing the spoke tension and Turquoise trying the chain link.

Picture Perfect
Taken on my phone on the trek back from delivering the Technohermits dinner and liberating apples.
Tonight's sunset.
