When the boat comes in!

Due to circumstances that take far to long to explain and (for once) is not my fault our holiday was cancelled so we made do with a quick trip to Oxwich bay to try out the kayaks and give the new kayak trailer a good test. The trailer did very well, right up until 5 miles from the beach when it unexpectedly turned into a tipping trailer and nearly dumped the kayaks all over the Kings highway. Quick bodge with a ratchet strap and we were back in one piece and on the beach.

and the Apprentice were first into the water while yours truly waited patiently for the tide to come in.

RRKK2 tested the wind protection 

but found it needed some adjustment. 

Out at sea once again 

we had a great paddle 

in fact we paddled like flock. 5 hours later we headed back, holiday over.
