Cram it in

Today was such a good day yours truly was going to ride his motorbike a very long way but a series of unfortunate events occurred, but before them, here we are walking dogs and in the far distance is a deer
zooom in and we can just make it out in all its Bambi goodness, odd that it should be out in the open, out so late and out for so long, usually its blink and you miss it.
Back to bikes, kitted up and red hot under the collar set off only to get to the gateway to the world and find it leaking fuel really really badly, not that a fuel leak could ever be considered goodly. So back to the house, change and off in Moby to see a friend who has an obsession to collect all the worlds motorbikes, so far he is doing quite well.
Mine that he is building from a box of bits
and its nearly done. Just needs a new seal, though how you fit an aquatic marine mammal in such a small space is beyond me.
Until such seal is trained the noisy little kwacker sits waiting.
Outside there is this one.... oooooh a nice shiny red one which obviously goes faster. Sounded lovely but I was unable to have a ride as I had not got my gear, which I would have had if I had been on my steed.
Back at the ranch the boys decided to cook! Chick pea curry and spagetti bolognaise.
Went down a treat under the watchful eyes of K9s.
Having had dinner cooked another patrol was fitted in
and the world was a good place in all its sunny greenery
so we tarried a while at the waters edge, ignoring the flying bitey things that wanted to feast on our flesh
and as the sun set
the tired doggos
cooled off
and we headed back happy that our solar panels were working to the max, well at least until its dark.
This is the view of the sunset from the reservoir because when I got back MBAOSPW let me know that we had no water
meaning something must be done, this involves making sure the reservoir pump is working, water is above the the blue pipe level so it can run downhill into the cottage, that the air lock now created is freed by disconnecting the water pipe after the stop cock in the utility room but you then have to turn the water back on so several gallons spill out with the released air, then jam the pipes back together and fasten hoping that the pressure built up is enough to activate the water pump so supplying the house. We actually run out a lot less than we used to now that the apprentice is routinely tasked to check the water lever and activate the first pump. Kids must have some uses.
This is my cow parsley AKA Hog Weed, not Giant Hog Weed but big enough.
This was sent to me the other day, me in 2003 on my Suzuki just before it caught fire.
And this, how proper motorbikes were advertised in 1980.
