Apollo, the very placid and exceedingly handsome gypsy cob that we have hand reared since he was a puppy , had his patience tested to the limit yesterday. Not by Trevor, the pocket rocket, who by the very fact that he is the only stallion left at Rock HQ, and despite his diminutive stature is playing Johnny big potatoes and bossing all and sundry around the Corral OK. No, the poor gypsy cob got sat on, well almost sat on, he did have my considerable bulk draped over him for a few minutes, and as he did not seek to dash my brains out passed the test which means this weekend he will be sat on, and hopefully both of us will survive.
