Danger men at work.....

When the lovely firebrigade saved Rock HQ from the flames they cut our perimeter fence in a couple of places to allow the animals to escape. This has now got to the top of the things I must do list which is why yours truly lugged posts, wire, staples, sledgehammer, bold cutters, hammer, loudspeaker and phone up the steepest side of the Bonsai mountain
to spend a happy hour or 3 under the careful supervision of Ace and Mrs Bear
putting new bits into old fence and not a bit of baler twine in sight! Much sweating and swearing later the job was done and for now at least its keeping our equines in and the militias sheep out.
Meanwhile in another part of the smallholding the apprentice was tackling weeds in the pig pen that were
nearly as big as him.
A novel technique was employed, the weeds were enemy Knights and he smote them mightily with his sword. Kept him busy and go the jib done!
