Young Farmers

Little t occupied himself with his farm set while the rest of us did it for real, although like him on a small scale.
As it was Mothering Sunday attention turned to all things aviary, last year the ambitious present of a whole aviary project for my beautiful and oh so patient wife was completed and this year she got some bolt on accessories such as drinking bottles, bird houses and locks. Several new birds were added and Mrs Bourke, who's partner Mr Bourke died in the coldest weather after he, for reasons only his bird brain could fathom, went swimming and froze to death while the rest of the feather brains sat around the heat lamp in t shirts and flip flops, was found alive and kicking behind a wood panel in the roof.
She was less than happy at being evicted from the cosy shelter but soon calmed down as she perched next to the handsome new Mr Bourke bought especially to keep her occupied.
It being Crufts day we got updates from Berner fans, one bit of good news is that Reuben's sister Diva won a prize and the working dog Berner winner is related to Reba the matriarch of the Dolyhir Clan.

Happy Mothers Day to mothers everywhere, especially mine and MBAOSPW's, without them we wouldn't be here. Fact.
