Geographical misplacement

The weather has been grim the last two days, more like how I remember Scottish highland weather, dreek was the word used to describe visibility and greyness encountered on our bimble over the Bonsai Mountain.
As we got higher we saw less
and then it all went a bit Pete Tong as yours truly and his happy band of Berners followed what we knew was a new trail, but as we couldn't see where it led we got a bit tangled in the vegetation
several times there was a bit of a traffic jam, and some tried to turn back
and it all got a bit cramped amongst the spiky bushes and we only really knew we were still going downhill but not in which direction, not exactly lost, just spatially compromised, geographical impreciseness reigned until we broke through and there just visible
was Hazel and Vic.
