Team building

The gremlins have returned part of yesterdays post but in the process have lost all of todays , ah well its bound to turn up sooner or later.
So, soon after lifting the stricken Spotty off the fence Colin took 5 mins to take in the spectacular scenery that we were now part of.
In the distance on the right is Cadir Idris, the summit of choice for the day.
The strange weather spotlighting the start point way off down in the valley, part of the attraction of Cadir Idris is that you get very high very quickly.
Another reason why we were there was to get some mountain days before Kilimanjaro, one of us forgot to take off the labels off our new Kili kit.
Another newbie enjoyed setting his own pace,
which is just as well as one wrong step in the gathering mist could be your last.
The newbie struck the compulsory mountain pose automatically when confronted by such grandeur.
Spotty on the other paw risked instant death by being a K9 tit on the edge.
As the weather worsened we tried out the old stone shelter close to the summit.
Once again the top was bagged.
By all of the team.

At this point the journey got very exciting, but we will have to wait and see if the internet finds it again. Stay tuned. Those that can can see what happened on Trevor Shetland's facebook page.
