Forest life

 As its the time of year when yours truly celebrates the fact that 11 years ago his beautiful and oh so patient girlfriend became his carer, erm, wife, we headed of to Sherwood Forest for a short break.

 We love it here

 back to nature

 and cycling.

 With the added attraction of a bit of Christmas magic, fireworks and Santa.

 Plus good food, veggie for yours truly,

 whilst rug rat MkII made sure he got MEAT aplenty, that burger is not going to get away!

 We found the merry men

 which were an interesting diversion from the crazy golf coaching

 or poking monks with clubs game.

 Our lovely daughter joined us with her equally lovely friend Gen who is a wine expert and whiskey drinker. What's not to like?

Again a fab break, and sooo relaxing. Thanks to Lou for looking after HQ while we were away :)
