BT scrambled an engineer in super quick time to reattach the blue tac and paperclips to our phone line. He was a nice engineer, a bit incredulous that our phone line was on the floor across a gateway, but that's how his colleagues had left it for nearly a year. Not sure why BT were so fast this time, might have been something to do with the tone of the email I left as feedback, it included the line "you are more boring than a Boy George song". So motivated were they to prove they were more interesting than a weighty cross dressing drug addled 80's singer that they phoned me late Thursday night to promise that this time, unlike the previous four other times, this time they would get it right! Time will tell.
