Pigs on patrol

The lack of noise from the pig pen at breakfast was an early indication that something was amiss and on closer examination the deafening silence was due to lack of pet pork products. They had escaped and gone long range as opposed to free range. 

A hasty search of the area in ever widening loops found the fugitives exploring the lane leading to the ghost house. 

This whole event was very exciting for Roscoe who had never seen such mobile pigs ears and he "helped" by barking at them the whole way home. Pigs being clever noted that they were essentially in the wrong place for food and headed home without fuss.
