A quiet life

 Unlike last weekend when yours truly was stood in a field with 250,000 other heavy metal fans pretending the volume wasn't painful, this weekend has been quieter, so far anyway. Having found out the seaside is within cycling distance therefore just over an hour and a bit in Gerry, we left the rain on the Bonsai Mountain and headed with high hopes for the sunny coast.

 As luck would have it the forecast was spot on and a pleasant 4 hours was spent as tourists hanging around the harbour eating chips.

 Then moving along a bit for ice creams

 and then skimming stones on the beach.

Not pressed for time we headed uphill from the coast and took the scenic route via Devils Bridge. A very productive trip in that we managed to get 3 Christmas presents and one birthday present . How organised is that! All I have to do now is put them in a safe place and remember where that is.
