Extreme gardening

This is our cliff conveniently located 50 feet from the back of Rock HQ. It has dumped rocks on us from time to time, a process assisted by trees growing on the cliff face and the roots forcing great slabs off. Some can be seen in this pic. The big one at the front fell off December 2006.
So tonight some extreme gardening took place which entailed climbing said cliff with chainsaw and hacking great logs off the naughty trees.
This is the view from halfway up after some judicious pruning, the rock against the tree on the left also fell off December 2006, its half the size it was after being attacked with power tools for a week.
More extreme gardening going on by the perimeter. Its been cleared of gorse bushes and brambles ready for a fox proof fence to be installed. Thats nearly true, its actually fox proof and dog proof, keep foxes out and dogs in. This to protect our new chickens who arrived today. Supermarkets sell eggs but they don't taste as good as ours. Its a good job ours taste so good considering the costs involved.
