The world of wood

The weird weather meant the sun shone prompting the breakout of shorts and t shirts while yours truly, ably supported by his beautiful and oh so patient wife, cracked on with the big job
of building the Swiss Chalet Kennel Block. By second breakfast the sides were on and
by late afternoon the back was almost finished. A couple of hours respite was had midday, not to watch England smash Wales in the Six Nations (I tried the time honoured I have run out of the right sized screws so will have to stop. "Luckily supergrandma drove to town to fetch some more. Hurrah) no, no Rugby for me today, instead time off from the world of wood was for pig bothering. Thor, Pam and the piglets have gone
to live in sunny Pembrokeshire courtesy of The Woodland Pig Company. Thor has a new bride, a Swallow Belly like him and Pam will have a new man, a massive Blonde Boar. The piglets are destined to be gourmet sausages served at country fairs. The circle of life as it were.
Sunset saw another arty farty pic opportunity, the apprentice kept himself occupied driving his tractor around and throwing boxes of screws down the bank.
From any angle this is a big build, which will be almost finished by next weekend. Perhaps.
Hardy showing off. Its more impressive if you are a Peahen.
