Summer fun

We had to leave Rock HQ for while today and do some admin, get the car serviced and buy supplies. Back on the ranch the usual rounds had to be completed, the boys fetched back from sheep skull lane( a trip they are starting to make with monotonous regularity) and supper cooked. I decided to have another steak cooked on a small fire. Plenty of twigs under the apple trees, which are full to bursting point which is a nice surprise considering the damage caused to them by the goats last year, we really though they were past saving.
There were a few setbacks to tonight's fireside fry up. The magnificent seven decided to help.
Then the weather turned a bit nasty.
But I persevered and soon had a lovely steak sizzling in the pan. Bliss watched it carefully just in case I was allergic to rib eye steaks.
