Job done

The pig pen is complete. Phase one of the lets get Rock HQ looking like a proper smallholding has finished and phase two will begin once the money tree develops sufficient new shoots. Next on the list is to make the bottom of Oak Bank and Willow Rise into pig pens with a smaller holding pen at the back of the Kennels and well. When the JCB returns its going to move the fallen tree from the stream and shift the several tons of dirt from the head of the track in the Cauldron. This will allow us vehicle access to our fields. Once that access is obtained the whole plot can be refenced, fallen trees removed and the grass given a good going over to make it lush pasture. Well as lush as a windswept Welsh Bonsai Mountain allows.

The Tonka Toys were removed from the smallholding, in the nick of time as I was suffering mild hypothermia. If the technonerds would allow you could see small clip of video of the several hours of snow that fell covering the hills surrounding us with a white blanket. The severe weather meant any further work outside was pointless and reluctantly I set about some paperwork and reports. I interspersed this with quick trips down to the new pig pen just to remind myself how good it is. Such a pity we have to spoil it with pigs!
