Let it snow

The promised thaw didn't arrive at Rock HQ, instead is snowed for nearly 20 hours and dumped six inches of fresh stuff into our playground. Totally marooned on our hill we are well supplied with everything except water, the pipes have been frozen for days now but thankfully the well doesn't get cold enough to freeze solid so we haven't had to resort to melting the snow, yet. Its at times like this you appreciate how helpful our neighbours and friends are who have been checking that we and our animals are happy and well fed. Steve the electrician phoned to see if we were still alive and kicking or in need of help, he even left us a few bars of a song on the answer machine to cheer us up, his song of choice "Let it snow"
