Yesterday. A perfect 10

Yesterday the gremlins invaded the PC so I couldn't let you know how I got on. The BBMC, the route
translates to this, the lump on the far horizon is the next peak to bag
so there wasn't much time for this.
 Mostly it was like this
 and this
 and blisters
 and seemingly endless paths
 that with lots of effort
 led to the finish line
 where we were welcomed
 given medals
but what we wanted was cake!

It was a great day, fantastic weather for a change, good company from my BBMC partner Richard and although we were slower than last year we made it round in just over 10 hours walking. Best still we raised a lot of dosh for our charities and if anyone wants to donate you can by using the donate button in the margin. Its normally used by Tales from the Rock supporters who want to help us feed our critters so you will get a "You fed me!" message back automatically but just put a line on your donation, no matter how small, telling me its for the BBMC. The money raised is going towards a specialist piece of equipment for a one year old girl who has a number of acute medical problems.

Congratulations Tony, that's one heck of an achievement.

I'll stick to cycling though: it's much less painful.
