Happy Bunnies

Here's some pics of the happy couple who have been so busy in the hutch. The Dad is the dark one closest to the camera above while

this one above and below is Mum. The kittens are doing well, we are a bit worried that she might kill them, it happens when the Doe is

distressed, but these two seem pretty chilled bunnies.

An interesting comment posted on the new year surprises posting, a possible explanation for Geisha's phantom pregnancy, a hybrid, a Geep, crossing of goat and sheep. They are not likely to live if that is the case, although similar species they have different DNA's and numbers of chromosome pairs, but occasionally it does happen and you get a very interesting animal. As all our animals fit that category, and Geisha plagues poor Crispen when she is in season, who knows, perhaps he finally gave in to shut her up!
