The dark side

We were worried about the starving Neddy's around the other side of the Bonsai Mountain so despite the foul weather we took a bucket of build up cubes, chaff and mineral mix to give her a treat and make sure she and the foal were not chilled by the rain.

She's still very thin but she seemed to be coping with the weather and scoffed the free food without pause for thought.

The foal looks in better shape than his Mum, she is still feeding him which is a drain on her reserves. Stupidly we have let it be known that if the owner wants rid of her we will take her on. Not sure where we will keep her, but she will be better looked after our side of the mountain.
