Quicker than the stables
The Mogadishu project grows, slowly, but quicker than the real life stables. It was on the to do list to roof it tomorrow but the wind speed of 80mph means its a daft idea, even for me to to attempt.

Time management
Longer days mean walks in daylight after work
hence a quick trip out yesterday
until yours truly realised that in an hour I had another meeting to get to. Run!
More houses have arrived flat packed for the Mogadishu project.

Missed it
MBAOSPW has a habit of missing fairly massive balloon displays and in true form on Valentines day she managed to miss this pink creation expressing my undying devotion. I even put it next to the mop bucket so she would see it as soon as she got up,
Having most of my appointments cancelled for the day, and it being so sunny, work today was done on the hoof.Richard and I decided to hold our weekly management meeting on the summits of The Brecon Beacons.
We made record time, for us, to the summit of Pen Y Fan
and then headed into the wilderness for another hour
before looping back
having lunch
walking up Fan Y Big
the fog was still over the city
but we were blessed with glorious sunshine
for the whole trip.
Compulsory selfie.
PB!

Days long
The days are getting longer
and this means
jobs done after work!
Here we see the results of light pruning
supervised by Tasha
with help from the apprentice
some firewood for next winter
was laid to dry out before a quick trip up
the bonsai mountain to catch the last of the day.

Doggie paddle
Took time off from chores to go to the river
for some
much needed dog training
and
doggie paddle
swimming
seemed rude not to join!

Lets do that again
Last weeks 5k "fun run" had to be done again and this time I got a PB, still over 30 mins but close to target. RRMK2 also finished and got a 3rd place in his age group whereas I was 15th in the fat knacker category.
Back at the ranch jobs must be done, again supervised by Sven and Roscoe who also put up with the heavy metal blaring from the speakers.
As the apprentice wimped out of the run he got his exercise walking K9s
and sulking
because the nintendo was calling.
The K9's were a bit confused as to why
anyone would spend time stacking rocks
but tolerated the disruption to the normal walk
and even the apprentice ended up having a swinging time.

That Friday feeling
Friday usually means a small breakfast at my fav greasy spoon
followed by a brisk dog walk.
I mean swim.
Dog swim.
Moneypenny and Phoebe enjoying their swim time.
